General Care Tips to Enjoy Your Jewelry for Years to Come

  • Avoid exposure to products such as bleach, soaps, lotions, sunscreen, oils, perfumes. The additives in these products can affect the metal’s and stone’s finish. It’s always best to remove your pieces if there is a possibility of being exposed to any product.

  • After wiping with a jewelry cloth, store your jewelry in a dry, air-tight container. A plastic bag is great as it will protect it from air, moisture and scratches.

  • Avoid exposure to pools, saunas, and ocean water. The minerals and chemicals in these environments can cause oxidation of the metal and dull the stones finish.

  • To prevent damage, remove your jewelry before housework, working out or any rigorous activity.

  • Be mindful when handling your jewelry to avoid scratches or impacts. While putting on your jewelry, use a mat, carpet or a towel in case the piece slips out of grip.

  • Do not clean your jewelry with ultrasonic cleaners, dipping solutions or abrasives. Invest in a jewelry cloth and wipe your pieces every time you wear to keep your stones and metals shiny and oxidation free.
